still the same

Well after Christmas i am now 12 stone 7, not bad i guess. it means i put on about 5 or 6 pounds over the holiday time. right, i have no more chocolate in the house so back on the diet. i wanted to still have lossed a stone but now with the weight gain i am 2 pounds under this.
im still going to aim for my half way point so i now have 13 pounds to get to it. i think this would really boost my confidence if i got to this point. thats what i need.
well at least i now have a job, its only part time but at least its bringing money in and gets me out the house. Still gonna keep looking for full time work and hope something comes along soon.
i know i only seem to complain about how i want to loss weight and seem to be gradually putting it on but it helps lol
i'll get there, we all will.

off the diet

hay everyone been having a hard time sticking to the diet the last 2-3 weeks. i haven't been really stupid and just stuffing my face but i have put on 3 pounds. i know its going to be hard over the Christmas period but i have to keep at it.
I have still lossed a total of 15 pounds so at least i ha vent put all that weight back on. i knew i wasn't going to stick to the diet but i didn't want to destroy all of that hard work. if i was going to put on weight then i only wanted it to be a few pounds.
right now i have to get back on track!! 10 more pounds and i am at my half way point. i think my next target will be that i lose 10 pounds and reach that point by the end of January. That will give me a good kick start to the year and hopefully i will still be on track to be target weight by my birthday (may).

very ill

hi everyone well iv had a bad time recently...i didnt get the job i wanted, with the worry i pigged out and had lots of wine and in a week had 2 takeaways so had a sneaky look at the scales on Sunday and id put on 3lbs. after that i got very ill, was either a bug or food poisoning...not nice! im still not all better, finding it hard to eat properly but im getting there. i guess the good thing to come from it is that i losed the 3lbs and another 2 :) but now getting back on track with the diet. i am now 1lb from going down to eating 40 checks a day instead of 45. when i get to that it means i have just over 2 stone to go. i'll get there tho :) very determined this time, got things to look forward to like a wedding and fancy dress party. and it would be great to have the confidence to wear what i want when my boyfriend and i can afford to go on holiday, no matter where we go.
well im going to keep looking for a job, anything that could count as experience to help with the job i really want. keep fingers crossed, hopefully i will have a job by next week or something.

Bad week

hi everyone well had i loss this week but not a good one. i lost 1 pound, but at least that brings me 1 pound closer to my target weight. Got to keep thinking positively! I did go over my check limit a few days so it is my fault anyway. Will be better behaved this week.
Well i haven't heard anything about the jobs that i have applied for yet. Hopefully in the next few days. That will make things be alot easier for me, and maybe have the money to try new recipes lol
If i do well i might still reach my target of losing 2 stone by Christmas, fingers crossed.

half way to Christmas

well i have another weight loss, 2lbs off. That means i have now lossed 15lbs altogether. With only 6 more weeks till Christmas im sure i will be able to reach my own target of lossing 2 stone by Christmas. If i work hard i can lose the 13lbs to reach that.
Well its been a good week. I have applied for a few more jobs, one that i really really want. so, fingers crossed everyone.

5th week

hi everyone, well this week i lost another 2lbs! was hoping for 3lbs to get to to my first stone but in honestly i was a little bad this week. i went over my checks on at least 2 days. Never mind, i know if i work really hard over the coming weeks i can lose the 15lbs and reach my own personal target of two pounds lossed by Christmas Day.
Well apart from my weigh loss my week has been ok. will hear from a job as a technician by next week. I will still concentrate on the career i really want but at least then i will have money coming in and i will also be starting a foundation diploma in funeral directing. That will take 3 months and should really help my prospects.
Well hopefully next week i will have another good weight loss.

Getting there

well i have lossed another 3 pounds this week :) 3 more and i have lossed my first stone. This is making me feel very determined to do it this time. i can feel the change in my body and its making me feel alot better, just keep thinking what it will be like when iv reached my target weight. I fond out theres going to be a fancy dress party at a friends in june or july next year so my plan is to go as wonder woman!!! hopefully i'll have the legs for it.

this week so far

well this week so far hasn't been to bad, been applying for jobs in the local area for funeral directing and other jobs within the profession. I have been my usual good self, i did have half a chip butty today tho. i went out with my friend to a local marina but i made sure i only had half. not long till weigh day so will see if it has made much of a difference. fingers crossed it hasn't.

weigh day

well its back to weigh day but unfortunately my scales are broken. iv weighed myself at my boyfriends house, said id lost 5 pounds!! but i went to my parents and that said id lost nothing. will have to weight until i get my scales fixed to know the real weight change. Or i could just accept the 5 pound loss one :)
If it is true then i am three pounds off losing a stone. After that i know it will get harder to lose the weight and will go to one or two pounds a week.
i'll let you all know how iv really got on this week.

mid week blues

well its half way through the week and i am getting a little bit down. im still feeling a little ill from flu that i had last week so that isnt helping. iv treated myself tonight and had to save up 16 of my 45 checks for half a pizza and 10 checks for a dairy milk. real comfort food.
well during the week i have applied for some jobs in the local hospitals and funeral directors so hopefully i will hear back from them soon.
my mum has been making "free" soups, so i may give it a go myself. i had butternut squash today and it was yummy. In these winter months it will really help to warm me up and fill me up.
im going to keep up the good work, almost at my half stone mark now. about 2 and a half stone left to go.

second week been and gone

im very pleased with myself this week, even with the half take away pizza i lossed 2 pounds. one more and i have losed half a stone. Can feel my trousers getting loose already. My work trousers (that i had to but in a size18, the biggest size iv ever bought) are now getting los and i will soon be in the 16s. This will give me a bit more self confidence at least. I still carry on writting everything down and as iv said before it really does help. and even if i have been naughty write it downa nd try and make up for it during the week. hopefully i will have a good week this week and reach my half stone personal target.
so, my own life is still as stressful. my house mate and i havent been talking for a week and he now avoids me at any cost..not good. Im sure things will blow over, were both stressed. It cant eb easy being in final year of university.
My university course is going ok. had a mini breakdown while talking to my lecture after a tutorial. It was so nice that he remebers me from my very first year and he asked how i was getting on and coping now that im finally in 2nd year. Its taken me four years, i did a year in maths and science then first year. i failed 2 subjects so repeated them last year. I explaied that i was doing ok, doing all the work but just didnt want to be there. had a little bit of a cry but he was really helpful. Told me taht i should visit the other local hospital and talk to the mortuary staff there as there much more relaxed and might even let me watch a post mortem which is something id like to do to prove that im ok with that side of either job i do.
Im sure things will work out, i have applied for a funeral directing job near me and im going to talk to loads that are around...if i keep at them they will hopefully remember me and offer me a job lol.

having trouble

well its almost weigh day....iv been trying hard this week and trying to keep track of what i eat. i was a little naught and had some take away pizza at the weekend when i was at my friends house but i have tried to make up for that. lets hope it works (fingers crossed).
When your trying to lose weight it doesn't help when things in your life seem to be going wrong. im hating university and dont want to be there and im struggling to get on with my house mate. think weve both realised we cant live together any more. never mind only a year left for him at uni so hopefully after that i will have a job and be able to live in the house alone :)
Been trying not to buy chocolate and easy fatty foods. at least its slightly easier now that i dont have those kind of things in the house. im sure once things sort themselves out it my life then my weight will keep falling off. hopefully a good result this week.

First Week

Well it was my first week at University and on my scittish slimmers diet. In the first week of the diet i have lost 4 pounds. the first week of uni went just as well. i know my timetable, i know my groups...not like in other years where my name wasnt on any groups.

I found the first week of the diet quite easy and i just have to keep on track and not slip. To make sure i dont i have already got into the habbit of writting everything down and adding it all up as i go, it really does help. Hopefully my next week will be just as good.
